Quality Assurance
East Coast Repair and Fabrication, LLC maintains planned and systematic production processes that are safe and assure the quality of our workmanship. These Quality Assurance process guarantee the satisfaction of our customers. Our Quality Assurance (QA) program is a continuous process of improvement and refinement based upon experience as contract activities progress. Lessons learned are continually incorporated into the planning and execution of activities while processes are modified to make sure problems are corrected and not repeated.
The purpose of this QA program is to make certain that work products delivered to customers by East Coast Repair and Fabrication have met the quality and operational standards of our clients and that we receive the information needed to control the Program so that requisite product quality is achieved. Our QA activities consist of the evaluation of Program work products and the audit of Program processes by individuals independent of the projects being evaluated.
The QA function evaluates both the Program products to make certain they meet quality requirements and the Program processes used to create these products to make certain they are done in accordance with Program plans and our policies and procedures. Quality Assurance is not just inspecting for defects in completed work products and deliverables but is also process management, and engineering for implementing continuous improvements into the workflow.
QA processes are integrated at the corporate and program level to ensure the inherent strengths of all the partner companies are leveraged to the success of this mission. Our Quality Assurance program is fully integrated with our management approach. East Coast Repair and Fabrication has also implemented procedures for welding and Non Destructive Testing (NDT).
